Bio-Engineered to improve mobility and provide pain relief

We believe walking should feel wonderful, which is why we thoughtfully designed our shoes to cradle your feet in all-day comfort. Discover our comfort-first difference.

  • A layered footbed runs the full length of the shoe, from heel to toe.

    • Two foam densities, a firmer base with a softer top layer.
    • Shaped heel cup that holds the heel in place as you walk.
    • Keeps its shape rather than flattening after a few weeks.
  • The footbed is contoured along the inside edge instead of being flat.

    • Built-in contour that follows the shape of the foot.
    • Removable, so you can take it out and use your own.
  • The front of the shoe is shaped round and roomy rather than tapered to a point.

    • Extra width across the ball of the foot.
    • Rounded toe shape with room in front of the toes.
    • No overlays across the widest part of the shoe.
  • The inside is lined with a padded fabric and finished with as few seams as possible.

    • Padded collar and tongue around the ankle opening.
    • Smooth inner seams where the lining meets the upper.
  • Panels of stretch fabric sit where the shoe flexes most.

    • Knit or elastic panels over the top of the foot.
    • Moves with the foot through the step instead of resisting it.
  • A wide opening and a firm heel counter, so the shoe goes on standing up.

    • Wide ankle opening with a pull loop at the heel.
    • Set the laces once and leave them.
  • Built for wearing from morning to evening rather than for an hour at a time.

    • Full-length cushioning under both heel and forefoot.
    • Light sole unit, so the shoe does not feel heavy by the afternoon.
  • The upper is treated to shed light rain and splashes.

    • Treated upper that beads water on contact.
    • For showers, not puddles. These are not waterproof boots.
  • One fit, cut roomy, with an upper that gives as you move.

    • Wide feet get the space they need.
    • Narrower feet still sit snug and held.

What people tell us

with
  • “I am on my feet all day at work and I used to get home and not want to move again. These are lighter than they look and there is real padding under the ball of the foot. My evenings are a lot easier.”
    Christine M.
  • “Trouble with my Achilles on and off. The back of these is padded and does not press on the tendon, which most trainers do. Sizing is spot on.”
    Fiona McL.
  • “Arthritis in both feet and my hands are not much better. Being able to get these on without fighting the laces every morning is worth the money on its own.”
    Frank B.
  • “Bunions on both feet and shoe shopping has been miserable for about ten years. Nothing presses on the joint at all in these. First pair I have not had to break in first.”
    Alan B.
  • “I am diabetic so I am fussy about what goes on my feet. Not a hard seam anywhere inside them, nothing rubbing at the back after a full day, and the lining is genuinely soft. That is all I was after.”
    David R.
  • “Completely flat footed, and most shoes leave me aching by mid afternoon. There is a proper shape under the arch in these and the insole lifts straight out if you want your own in there. Losing a star only because I would like more colours.”
    Susan T.
  • “Gout flares in the big toe joint and most shoes are unwearable once one starts. There is no pressure across that joint at all in these and the front opens right up when I slacken the laces.”
    Raymond F.
  • “A bump on the back of my heel that catches on every shoe I own. The collar on these is soft and sits below it rather than straight across it.”
    Priscilla M.
  • “Two hammer toes on the right foot and the tops of them catch on everything. There is real depth in the front of these so nothing presses down on them at all.”
    Doreen S.
  • “Heel pain most mornings for as long as I can remember. The padding round the back is thick and there is no rubbing at all where I normally get it. Wore them the whole of Saturday and was fine.”
    Janet C.
  • “Heel spur on the left and standing up after sitting was always the worst part of the day. The cushioning under the heel is deep and even, and I notice it most first thing.”
    Kenneth A.
  • “Bad knees for years and thin soles always made a long day worse. These take a lot more of the pavement out of it than my old pair did.”
    Elaine W.
  • “Burning across the ball of my foot after half an hour in most shoes. There is a thick pad exactly where I need it and plenty of width to go with it.”
    Clive R.
  • “Morton's neuroma in the right foot and narrow shoes are agony. There is proper space across the ball here and a soft footbed underneath.”
    Vincent A.
  • “Neuropathy in both feet, so I cannot always feel what is going on down there. There is nothing inside these that could rub, which is exactly why I chose them.”
    Hazel M.
  • “I roll in badly on the left side. These sit flat and hold the heel properly and I can feel the difference on a longer walk. Sizing does run slightly big, I would have been fine half a size down.”
    Peter W.
  • “Four years of plantar fasciitis and mornings were always the worst bit of the day. I have been in these about three weeks now and getting down the stairs is a far less dramatic event than it used to be.”
    Margaret H.
  • “Went through years of sore feet and had rather given up on finding anything. The first day in these was noticeably better and by the end of the week I had stopped thinking about it altogether.”
    Robert M.
  • “The heel collar is soft and sits below the sore spot rather than right on it. That alone made these worth trying.”
    Derek H.
  • “Arthritic toes, and stiff shoes are out of the question. These bend where a foot bends. The pale sole marks a bit easily, mind you.”
    Sheila P.
  • “A bunion on the left that has ruined most shoes for me. There is no stitching across the widest part, which is exactly the bit that always caught me out. Very pleased.”
    Rosemary G.
  • “Bought these for my husband who is diabetic and very particular. He has worn nothing else for a month. Smooth inside, easy to get on, and the width is right without being sloppy.”
    Barbara K.
  • “Flat feet run in my family and I have tried plenty of shoes. These hold their shape rather than collapsing after a fortnight. Wore them round London all day on Saturday.”
    Ian M.
  • “Between flares I am fine, but when one comes on I need something I can get on without touching the toe. These go on easily. The sole does pick up small stones though.”
    Antoinette B.
  • “Haglund's on the right heel. The padding at the back is thick enough that the bump has somewhere to go. Slightly stiff for the first week.”
    Jonathan V.
  • “Plenty of height over the toes, which is the whole reason I bought them. The laces are a bit long for my liking but that is easily sorted.”
    Neil F.
  • “Sore heels after long days on site. There is a proper cushioned block under the heel in these rather than a thin bit of foam. Big difference by the evening.”
    Michael O.
  • “Spurs on both heels. There is a proper cushioned block under there rather than a thin layer. Would like a firmer lace, otherwise no complaints.”
    Valerie S.
  • “Knee trouble on the right. The extra cushioning takes the edge off a long walk. They are a little heavier than trainers, which I had not expected.”
    Stuart G.
  • “Sore under the ball of the foot, and a lot of shoes have almost nothing there. The padding here is generous. Sizing runs a fraction long.”
    Josephine A.
  • “Wide across the forefoot, which is the only thing that helps me. The insole is a little thin for my liking but I swapped in my own.”
    Glenys R.
  • “Numbness in the toes means I need a shoe that cannot cause trouble without me noticing. Smooth inside and easy to check over. Slightly heavier than I expected.”
    Terence J.
  • “I have been told I overpronate for as long as I can remember. The heel cup is firm and does not let my ankle wander off. Solid pair.”
    Marie L.
  • “I stand on a hard warehouse floor for nine hours. Plantar fasciitis has been part of my life since 2019. These are the first pair I have finished a shift in without counting down the minutes.”
    Trevor D.
  • “Good cushioning right the way through and they do not feel heavy. Half a size up would have suited me better, so do check the sizing guide before you order.”
    Yvonne P.
  • “Nothing rubbing at the back of the heel and a bit of lift underneath it. I can manage a decent walk again without regretting it that evening.”
    Lorraine B.
  • “Stiff feet first thing and these give without me having to force them. Easy on, easy off, and no pressure across the top.”
    Ronald K.
  • “Wide enough across the front that nothing rubs on the joint. A touch roomy at the heel for me so I wear a thicker sock, but I would far rather that than the other way round.”
    Keith A.
  • “Diabetic, and I look my feet over every evening out of habit. Nothing to report after a fortnight in these, which is more than I could say for the last pair. Only gripe is I would like them in black too.”
    Colin S.
  • “No arch to speak of. The footbed actually fills the gap instead of just lying flat. Took them out on a two hour walk and did not think about my feet once.”
    Denise F.
  • “Nothing sits on top of the joint and nothing squeezes the side of it. That is the whole test for me and these pass it.”
    Wesley H.
  • “The back of the heel is where all my trouble is. These do not press on it and there is no hard edge anywhere near it.”
    Diane McC.
  • “The toe box is deep as well as wide, and that matters far more than people realise. No pressure on the tops of my toes after a full day out.”
    Angela R.
  • “Comfortable round the heel and nothing digging in at the back. They are a touch warm in summer, so I would call these more of an autumn pair.”
    Sandra B.
  • “The padding under the heel is the thickest I have found in a shoe that still looks normal. That is exactly what I was after.”
    Nigel T.
  • “I walk the dog twice a day on hard paths. Since swapping to these I finish the second walk in a far better state than I used to.”
    Bernadette O.
  • “The forefoot cushioning is the whole point for me and these have it in spades. Comfortable from the very first wear.”
    Barry L.
  • “Burning across the ball of my foot after twenty minutes in most shoes. These spread the pressure much better and I can stay on my feet far longer.”
    Howard C.
  • “I cannot feel a stone in my shoe until it has done its damage. These are lined the whole way through with nothing hard anywhere. Peace of mind more than anything.”
    Norma D.
  • “The wear on my old shoes was always along the inside edge. These have a wider base and feel a good deal steadier on uneven ground.”
    Graham T.
  • “Plantar fasciitis on and off for years. The arch shape suits me and the heel is deep enough to hold my foot still. They took a few days to settle, which is why four and not five.”
    Pauline W.
