A pull-on shaft with a finger loop means you get in and out without a fight, and the wider shaft sits on the calf instead of gripping it. What goes into every pair
Every style starts from the same set of choices about shape, padding and grip. Here is what that means in practice.

A layered footbed runs the full length of the shoe, from heel to toe.
- Two foam densities, a firmer base with a softer top layer.
- Shaped heel cup that holds the heel in place as you walk.
- Keeps its shape rather than flattening after a few weeks.

The footbed is contoured along the inside edge instead of being flat.
